Caresh Walker "Currently creating hindsight, Caresh
focuses on time." Native to the Philadelphia area, I began
my dissection as a stained glass restoration artist disassembling
and rebuilding weather aged historical windows. Evolving from refurbishing
older windows, I shifted towards custom fabricated stained glass.
Adding influence from Muhammed Ali to olive oil, my work is world
involving. I presently build with SoulPurl 77 design, an "Artificial
Artifact" producer. Me,me,me,me,me,me,me,me,me....

Peter Javian Stained glass changed my perspective on Art and Life.
l used to paint with watercolors, and make found-object sculptures, and
everything was 3-dimensional or delicate. Stained glass allowed me to
created fortified and 2-dimensional work. Now I am in the mode of combining
everything, working toward a hybrid of glass collage with found objects,
endowed with 'meaningful asymmetry'. I respect Mayan sculpture for its beauty
and perverse sense of nature, and I envy American Indian mythology for its
bygone reverence of Life. My favorite artists are Georgia O'Keefe, Basquiat,
Hieronymus Bosch and Isamu Noguchi. I've dreamed for a long time of owning a
greenhouse and also, separately, growing potatoes above ground in stacks of
car tires. peter@soulpurl77.comMySpace
